Fusion Baton offers classes for learn to twirl, recreational, pre competitive and competitive both team and individual.  Twirlers can participate in one class a week or several classes with semi private / private lessons where students will be prepared for competitions at the Provincial, National and International level.  We have a space for every level of interest and guide twirlers along a path that works best for them and their family all while making life long friends, lasting memories and having fun.

 

Fusion Baton has been coached and under the direction of JoAnne Laba-Manson for over 20 years and has been involved in baton for over 50 years. JoAnne's twirlers have travelled to France, England, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Italy, Australia and all across Canada and the USA. 

 

Karen has been involved with Fusion baton since its inception as a parent, fundraising, finances and general sounding board for all new ideas. Karen brings many years of experience and InSite into your twirlers experience from both sides.  Have any questions ask her I bet she has the answer.

 

Shawna has been involved in baton for over 40 years starting as a twirler at the ripe old age of 2 and her role has changed from majorette to baton twirler to leader to coach.  Shawna was JoAnne's first ever private student with many titles to her credit.  She is the perfect fit for getting the girls ready to compete because she was in their shoes and knows just what they need to hit the floor confident and prepared.

 

Cassie is also a former twirler coached by JoAnne and a National Champion.  Cassie brings not only talent and knowledge but a youthful approach to the coaching staff.  Cassie expanded her love of twirling into the training and judging role by becoming the 1st NS A1 Adjudicator and is currently completing Division 1 Judge in Training certification.

 

Cheyne is yup you guessed it a former twirler coached by JoAnne from Novice 7-9 to intermediate 16+ with many awards and titles to her credit. Cheyne was an international competitor but her nurturing nature is the perfect fit for our brand new twirlers getting started
